Mongol Rally

There's an air of 'holidays'  - children bicycling down the road, East Wittering fuller and today there's the Mongol Rally setting off from Goodwood so going down to support a nephew and another friend - it's a great challenge and a good way to raise money for charity.

Still nippy at night but when the sun shines, it's beautiful - only done a few breakfasts outside in recent days but garden looking good.

Pretty busy for the next few weeks but still a few spaces.

Look forward to seeing you down here!

homefarmhouse

I have sent my B&Bs to Samphire and used Bracklesham taxis - tel:  670365 - a very good local firm. I also recommend all my B&Bs to use the ferry over to Bosham - people love this as they get a good walk into Bosham from the ferry.
Last night my B&Bs went to the Beach House and loved it - I try to recommend all the local restaurants in turn.

Come and discover this special area!

With a shortage of beds in the summer, West Wittering and Itchenor are the favoured destinations for many people - a wonderful beach with miles of sand and plenty going on there (swimming, windsurfing, kite surfing, ambles round the National Trust spit at East Head to name a few) and picturesque Itchenor which is the only place in the harbour where you can launch a boat at any state of the tide.  From here there's also a boat to take you on a Harbour Water Tour or ferry (seasonal) going to the Bosham side of the reach.

We're also only 15 minutes from Chichester, Goodwood is nearby and the beautiful South Downs are within easy reach for walks and lunching at pubs nestling in the Downs.

Have a look at the different bed and breakfast accommodation available nearby - at some periods, bookings are already difficult to get especially the summer holiday months and Goodwood Revival.

This is purely a list of local bed and breakfast:  some have been vetted and all are highly recommended by their owners!
